Dow’s Lake Consulting is based in Ottawa, Ontario, providing business continuity and emergency management professional services to public and private organizations of all sizes.
Our namesake, Dow’s Lake, forms one of Canada’s earliest business continuity plans. As part of the Rideau Canal, it was flooded as part of an alternative access route from Lake Ontario to the Atlantic Ocean. Its strategic importance was to mitigate the risk of a St. Lawrence River blockade affecting the flow of goods between Canada and Europe.
